Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.   • For receiving services from partners/suppliers: company name or full name, address, landline and mobile phone numbers, VAT number, Tax Office, bank account details, email addresses of contact persons.

 

  • For product/service promotion: full name, address, contact phone number, professional title, and email address.

 

  • For recruitment and hiring: full name, father’s and mother’s name, ID number, address, phone numbers, email, marital status, education level, professional qualifications, work experience, interview information, CV, recommendation letters.

 

  • For lawful employment and payroll: full name, parents’ names, ID number, address, phone numbers, email, marital status, education, professional skills and experience, AMKA and social security information, VAT number, Tax Office, hiring date, salary and benefits, bank account, and health data (only in the case of illness to calculate legal leave).

Rights of Data Subjects

You can exercise the following rights under the provisions of the EU GDPR 679/2016:

Right of Access

You have the right to be informed by our company about the type of personal data it holds and how they are being processed.

Right to Rectification and Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten)

You have the right to correct any inaccurate data and request the erasure of your personal data where there is a legitimate interest (Articles 16–17 of Regulation 679/2016), subject to any overriding interest of the company or legal obligation to retain them.

Right to Restriction of Processing

You have the right to request the suspension or restriction of processing of your data if you have a legitimate interest, as provided for in Article 18 of the Regulation.

You have the right to receive your data in a commonly used and machine-readable format and to request that these be transmitted to another data controller (Article 20).

Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Supervisory Authority

You may file a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA) if you believe your personal data has been unlawfully processed by our company.

You will not be charged for accessing your personal data or exercising your rights. However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, especially due to its repetitive nature. In such cases, we may also refuse to act on the request. 

Our company will make every effort to respond within one (1) month of the request. In cases of complexity or volume of requests, we will inform you of any delay.

Consent as Legal Basis for Processing

When the collection of personal data is based on the data subject’s consent, NOVELCOMM is responsible for ensuring that data subjects give their consent freely, through a positive action, explicitly and with full awareness of the content to which they are consenting.

Furthermore, in accordance with the Regulation, our company provides data subjects with the ability to withdraw their consent at any time. If NOVELCOMM wishes to process previously collected personal data for a different purpose, it must seek the data subjects' consent explicitly and in a clearly documented manner. Such a request must include both the original purpose for which the data was collected and the new or additional purpose(s).
